As we get ready for the busy Holiday season, I wanted to share my personal thoughts and sentiments as we go into the Thanksgiving weekend.
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Small Business Saturday. A registered trademark of American Express, used to promote small businesses across the nation.
This year also marks our 7 years in Mosaic District, a milestone I wasn't sure was possible just a few months back. Your support has meant the world to us over these past few years but more importantly in the last few months. Without customers and communities like you, we would never make it through.
We know the power of communities is so important, especially now more then ever. We have partnered with DC Shop Small and Mainstreet Alliance to amplify this message.
With Small Business Saturday and Black Friday coming up - here some ways you can support small businesses across the DMV.
3 Easy Actions You can take and make a difference!
- Take a selfie at your favorite small business, or with your fave small business product or highlight you're wish list via social Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
- Shop local and independent brands or ask your family to purchase gifts from your favorite small stores.
- Email Your Representatives directly, especially your Senators to pass additional funding and use #ShopSmallFundBig to create buzz around the importance of additional funding needed for small business to survive the 2nd wave of COVID.
